Verschave joined Swansea City from top French club Paris St Germain last February in a loan deal that kept him at Vetch Field until the end of the season. An extremely quick striker with an excellent first touch he took some time to settle in but finished the season with a flourish netting a goal in the 6-0 thrashing of Brentford and another against Cambridge in the final game. Verschave was selected to play for the French Universities team against Libya during his stay with the Swans.
