Tony Cottee's major signing in his reign as Barnet manager, Mark joined the Bees from Spurs in January 2001.
Although he is a very skilful midfield player, he took time to adjust to the physical demands of the Third Division and he found himself relegated to the subs' bench for the last month of the season.
Mark scored his first goal in senior football when he netted with a header in the 2-1 defeat at Hull City in March.
Mark returned to the Football League when he joined Southend United in July 2003 in a one-year deal.
His Blues contract was extended to June 2008 in June 2006.
Mark's contract at Swansea City was extended to June 2013 in November 2011 before it was cancelled in May 2013.
