Cas played in the Dutch amateur leagues (including SC Gastel) until he joined RBC. He joined Sheffield United in February 2003 on non-contract terms before moving on to Grimsby Town in June 2003. Cas joined the Mariners on a two-year contract but it was cancelled in January 2004 by mutual consent.
