Seabury made the starting line-up for Shrewsbury Town in the opening game of the 2000-01 campaign but then went down with a hernia problem. The injury required an operation and once he had returned to fitness he found it difficult to win a regular place in the line-up. He was restricted to just a handful of appearances in the second half of the season. He is a right wing back who is strong in the tackle and shows good pace when bringing the ball out of defence.
