Released by Norwich at the end of the 1999-2000 campaign Kevin impressed sufficiently in pre-season matches for Torquay to earn a contract. A forward or left winger whose key asset is his speed, he was mainly used by the Gulls as an out-and-out striker. An early run in the team was terminated by a knee injury but after recovering from that he scored a last minute winner in the 'Devon derby' with Exeter in January before succumbing to an ankle injury shortly afterwards and he failed to recover before the end of the season. Failed to win back his first team place and was subsequently released in the middle of November 2001.
