Jason Peake's signing during the 2000 close season was considered a real coup for Plymouth manager Kevin Hodges however he suffered an early-season injury and then fell out of favour following a change of manager at Home Park. He was subsequently loaned to Conference outfit Nuneaton Borough in December and the deal became permanent in March. Jason is an experienced midfield play maker with excellent distribution and a good scoring record.
