Sheldon made excellent progress in 2000-01 and established himself as a regular in the Scunthorpe United line-up for the first time.
He is a very fast and direct striker who started the campaign at centre forward before switching to a role wide on the right.
Although his goals return was disappointing, he netted with a brilliant 75-yard individual effort in the LDV Vans Trophy tie against Hartlepool United.
Collecting a loose ball from the edge of his own area, he dribbled straight up the field before netting with a great 20-yard drive into the bottom of the net.
He missed the last few games after suffering a leg injury at Shrewsbury Town.
Sheldon joined Hereford United in July 2006 with a one-year contract.
