Barrick was never able to hold down a place in the Bury line-up last season and played much of his football with the club's reserve team. He eventually moved to Doncaster Rovers on loan at the end of March and featured regularly for the Conference club in the closing weeks of the campaign. An experienced and consistent left back, he signed permanent forms for Rovers in May.
