David Seaman
| Born: | 19 September 1963 |
| Birthplace: | Rotherham |
| Weight: | 93 kg |
| Height: | 1.93 m |
| Position: | Goalkeeper |
The £1.3million spent to bring David from Queens Park Rangers to Arsenal in 1990 raised a few eyebrows but proved to be an extremely wise investment by manager George Graham as his calm authority saw him carry out his goalkeeping duties with the minimum of fuss. A national hero after his exploits for England in Euro 96, David’s 565 appearances in 13 years at Highbury is a Gunners club record for a keeper. He also won three championship titles, four FA Cup, a League Cup and a European Cup Winners Cup winners medals.
