Wrack was hampered by an attack of tendonitis during the 2000-01 campaign but always gave his best for Walsall when selected.
He made several useful contributions towards the Saddlers' promotion campaign, heading the equaliser and setting up the winner in the opening home game against Oldham Athletic and laying on a late winner against Swindon Town.
A purposeful midfield player known for his darting runs, Wrack signed a new two-year contract with Walsall in June 2003.
