Danny is a powerfully built central defender who was loaned to Blackpool for the final months of 2000-01 to provide him with first-team action.
He scored with a header on his Football League debut against Lincoln City and produced some impressive displays for the Bloomfield Road club.
He was called up by Nigeria for their friendly game against Libya in April but turned down the opportunity, preferring to help the Tangerines in their promotion campaign, and went on to play a vital role right up to the Play-Off semi-finals.
Unfortunately, his loan period expired before the Final and he had to watch from the sidelines as his team-mates defeated Leyton Orient to win promotion to the Second Division.
Danny's contract at Queens Park Rangers was extended up to June 2006 in November 2003.
He joined Watford in August 2006 with a three-year contract.
Danny joined Bolton Wanderers in August 2008 with a three-year contract.
He joined Millwall in October 2010 with a three-month contract.
Danny joined Queens Park Rangers in January 2011 with a contract to June 2011 that was extended to June 2012 in July 2011.
