One of the most talented players in the Birmingham City squad, Bryan produced occasional moments of brilliance in 2000-01, notably when he netted a superb goal on the turn in the 2-0 win over Watford in March.

Often used on the left of midfield from where he could cut inside and float the ball in to good effect, he did well when coming off the subs' bench in the Worthington Cup Final against Liverpool, nearly scoring with a superb 30-yard chip.

Bryan joined Charlton Athletic in July 2004 with a three-year contract.

He joined Hull City in July 2007 with a three-year contract that was cancelled in January 2010.

Bryan joined Burton Albion in December 2010 on a monthly contract.

He joined Accrington Stanley in October 2011 on non-contract terms.
