PositionForward

Had a spell on loan at Everton in September 1993 before move made permanent.

This much-travelled striker celebrated his arrival at Walsall by scoring twice on his debut as he helped the Saddlers fight back from a two-goal deficit to win 3-2 at Rotherham. His bustling style was effective whether starting a game or coming on as substitute (something he did over twenty times during the season), and he ended his first campaign at Bescot Stadium on a high note with a hat-trick in the final Second Division game at Northampton. A big and powerful target man, he holds the ball up well and has an instinct for finding scoring positions.

Brett was released by Port Vale at the end of his short-term contract in October 2002 before signing for QPR up to the end of the year. He then announced his retirement from senior football.
