As a promising young midfield player with an eye for goal, Bojan made his Premiership debut for Manchester United in the final game of the 2000-01 season.

He scored his first senior goal for the Reds in Tommy Boyd's testimonial game at Celtic's Parkhead.

Bojan, who is the son of the former Red Star Belgrade and Yugoslavia player Branko Djordjic, was made available for transfer by Plymouth Argyle in August 2006.

He joined Blackpool, managed by his former Argyle boss Ian Holloway, in July 2011 with a two-year contract that was cancelled in January 2012.
