Lee-Barrett was signed by Norwich City from neighbours Ipswich Town when he was an Under-16 player.
After a loan spell, he joined Coventry City in January 2007 with a contract to the end of the season.
Lee-Barrett's contract at Ipswich Town was extended to June 2011 in January 2010 and to June 2013 in May 2011.
He joined Bolton Wanderers in October 2013 with a contract to January 2014 that was then extended to June 2014.
