A prolific striker at youth level, Alex Dawson was plunged into the Manchester United team following the Munich disaster. His goal ratio was outstanding but he left after David Herd's arrival. Alex is one of the few players to boast an FA Cup semi-final hat trick - scored against Fulham at Highbury in the immediate post Munich Cup run.
