Comments:

League position: 14th AFC Bournemouth were now unbeaten in five Premier League matches and had won the last three. The Cherries had now seen their opponents shown five red cards in this Premier League season; more than any other team. Manager Eddie Howe had named an unchanged starting XI for the third consecutive Premier League game. However, Josh King was originally named in the starting line-up before suffering a hamstring injury in the pre-match warm-up. Glenn Murray was promoted to the starting XI with Shaun MacDonald taking his place on the bench. Adam Smith was booked in the sixth minute of added time in the second half.
