Comments:

League position: 9th All seven of Watford's Premier League defeats so far in this season were against teams that were now currently in the top seven positions. This was the Hornets' fifth home Premier League defeat in the 2015-16 season. Only bottom-of-the-table Aston Villa had suffered more (six). The Premier League’s Goal Accreditation Panel ruled on the following: - Watford’s goal against Manchester City on Saturday 2nd January 2016 has been confirmed as a Ben Watson goal, so was not an own goal by Aleksandar Kolarov. (Circular 14 – 11th January 2016)

Comments:

League position: 3rd This was Manchester City's first away win in seven Premier League games (lost three). It was their longest run without an away win since April 2011 (also six games).
