Comments:

League position: 16th Swansea City were now without a win in their last five Premier League games; their worst such run since December 2015. With only four points, they had now made their worst six-game start to a top division season. Fernando Llorente's first goal for the Swans was also the first they had scored in the first-half of a Premier League game in this season.

Comments:

League position: 1st Pep Guardiola became the second manager to win his first six Premier League games (also Chelsea's Carlo Ancelotti in 2009-10). Manchester City had now won their first ten games in all competitions in this season. The only previous top division side to have won more games from the start of a season are Tottenham Hotspur with the first 11 games in all competitions in their double-winning 1960-61 campaign. City had now won the opening six games of a league season for the second time in their history. They won the first seven games of the League Division Two campaign in 1897-98.
