Comments:

League position: 15th Since the start of the 2015-16 season, Swansea City had now scored 11 own goals in the Premier League; more than twice as many as any other team. Only Jack Cork had now scored as many own goals in the Premier League since the start of 2015-16 as Federico Fernández (three). The Swans has now lost four of their last six games in the Premier League. Swansea City manager Paul Clement said: "Today we have taken a backward step. I think our performance in the first-half was what did the damage. The first goal was a bit unfortunate because it was a deflection off the defender's head, but we spoke a lot about stopping the crosses. Nothing that Leicester did today surprised me or the players - we talked about their dangerous crosses and the danger in counter-attacking situations. But there's talking about it and then there is making sure the application is right on the pitch."

League position: 14th Following the sacking of manager Craig Shakespeare, this was Michael Appleton's first game in caretaker charge. Shinji Okazaki had now scored five goals in his last nine Premier League games, as many as in his previous 51 in the competition. This was the Foxes' first win in their last six away games in the Premier League (lost three). Leicester City caretaker manager Michael Appleton said: "Getting the first goal was massive. That is the second time we have done it this year and obviously that is the two wins we have got. It was important that we started the game really well as we have not particularly started a few of the games that well of late, and gone behind in games. It's been a difficult week, so obviously we are delighted with that performance, the first-half especially."
