Kick-off: 4.00pm local (8.00pm BST) Match Report Tahiti started out with the high line that they had used against Nigeria. It only took four minutes for the first goal to come. Torres played a one-two then finished low at the near post. Then came a period during which Tahiti were able to hold out. Spain seemed to be taking the foot off the accelerator and lacked intensity. They did not make it two until after the half hour mark. Villa fed Silva who finished well. The Tahitians then began to pay the price for their high line. Torres got his second after he had broken clear. Villa then scored after a simple break to make it four. Tahiti won their first corner and had their first shot on target just before the break. Villa got his second just after the break after he was fed by Monreal. Torres sealed his hat-trick before the hour mark. Substitute Navas got the byline and pulled back for the Chelsea striker. Villa also grabbed a hat-trick. Perhaps marginally offside, he was allowed to profit as goalkeeper Roche failed to gather a through ball. Mata got himself on the scoresheet with his sides eighth. Spain were then awarded a penalty. There was a huge roar from the crowd when Fernando Torres blasted over. He quickly made up from his miss as he scored his fourth. Silva put Spain into double figures with his second on the night. On the night Spain were not quite able to threaten a world record score as some people thought they might. Tahiti will be disappointed that they were not able to get the single goal they were looking for however will again be proud of the heart they showed. Preview This is perhaps the biggest mismatch in the history of international tournaments. Spain who impressed in their opening match, will likely hand starts to squad members such as Mata and Javi Martinez. David Villa will hope to be given the opportunity to increase his country's goal scoring record. He was left out in the first game with Roberto Soldado being preferred. The Barcelona man has 51 international goals to his name to date. Tahiti will aim to show the same courage they showed against Nigeria and look to limit Spain as much as possible. Vahirua, Tahiti's only professional player, will again want to inspire his amateur teammates.
