League position: 2nd Manchester City avoided losing three consecutive games in the Premier League for the first time since March 2016. They had lost three of their preceding four Premier League games; as many as they had lost in their previous 70 games in the competition City had now failed to keep a clean sheet in their last ten games in all competitions. Sergio Agüero scored in an away game in England in the Premier League for the first time since the Citizens' visit to Huddersfield Town on 26 November 2017 (also scored in the competition at Swansea City on 13 December 2017 and at Cardiff City on 22 September 2018). Manchester City won their final Premier League game of a year for the first time since 2013. James Ward-Prowse conceded an own goal in the final minute of normal time at the end of the first-half before Sergio Agüero added City's third goal three minutes later.
