Comments:

Eric Lichaj scored two goals in a game for the first time in his English club career. Following a run of one win in seven games and the sacking of manager Mark Warburton, this was Gary Brazil's second game in caretaker charge.

Comments:

This was the first time that Arsenal had been knocked out of the FA Cup at the 3rd round stage since 1996, so for the first time under manager Arsène Wenger. This was the first time that the Gunners had conceded four or more goals against a team from a lower division in a FA Cup tie since 16 January 1908 at Hull City.
