Comments:

League position: 5th Manchester United had now drawn nine of their opening 16 home league games of this season. The only season they had drawn more at this stage was ten in 1980-81 in League Division One. United had now gone unbeaten in their last 20 games in the Premier League; their longest such run since February 2011. José Mourinho had now taken 54 points from his first 29 Premier League games as the Red Devils' manager; two fewer than Louis Van Gaal. Zlatan Ibrahimović scored from the penalty spot in the fourth minute of added time in the second-half. Manchester United manager José Mourinho said: "We scored two legal goals but I tell you with a smile on my face because I am not upset with the linesman. A really difficult decision for him, only video assistant replay could help this."

Comments:

League position:7th Everton had now won one of their last 16 away games in the Premier League played in the month of April (lost six). Phil Jagielka became the 17th different Everton player to score so far in this Premier League season; more than any other team. Ashley Williams conceded a penalty and was sent-off in the third minute of added time in the second-half. He became the first Everton player to be sent-off in the Premier League against Manchester United since David Weir in October 2002. Everton manager Ronald Koeman said: "It was really disappointing you don't get the win. The penalty was the right decision but it was really hard to take. Manchester United were attacking, taking risks, for that we had to kill the game. I was really confident to keep the clean sheet tonight."
