He also became the first player to score two goals on his first home Premier League start for City since Stevan Jovetic in a 3-1 win against Liverpool on 25 August 2014. City had now kept only one clean sheet in their last 11 home games in all competitions. They had now won four of their last five home games in the Premier League (drawn one).
