League position: 1st Sergio Aguero became the fifth player to score five goals in a Premier League game. The others who have achieved the feat are Alan Shearer, Dimitar Berbatov, Andy Cole and Jermain Defoe. Scoring them in 23 minutes playing time made Sergio's the fastest five-goal haul in Premier League history. City were now unbeaten in their last 18 Premier League meetings with Newcastle United (won 16); their longest unbeaten run against any Premier League opponent. Fernandinho was booked in the first minute of added time in the first half. The Premier League's Goal Accreditation Panel ruled on the following: - Manchester City's second goal against Newcastle United on Saturday 3rd October 2015 has been confirmed as a Sergio Aguero goal. (Circular 7 - 8th October 2015)
