League position: 2nd Manchester City are now yet to lose to Hull City in ten all-time home league matches. They have now gone four Premier League games without a win for the first time since November 2009. The sequence then of seven matches was ended with a home victory against Hull City. Manchester City have now taken only seven points from the last 18 available following a run of seven consecutive Premier League wins. They have not kept a clean sheet in their last eight games in all competitions and none in their last seven Premier League games (the latter equalling their worst such run since May to September in 2012). James Milner scored in the second minute of added time in the second half from a free kick resulting from a foul by Tom Huddlestone who was booked. The goal ended a personal run of 36 Premier League appearances without a goal.

The Tigers' only win now in eight Premier League attempts against Manchester City was a 2-1 win at home on 6 February 2010. They ended a run of three consecutive Premier League defeats with their goal being their first in 442 minutes playing time in league and cup. Hull have conceded three goals in the 90th minute or later in the Premier League in this season now. It has cost them five points. Goalscorer David Meyler was making his 100th league appearance while his two fellow central midfield colleagues also reached notable career landmarks - Tom Huddlestone's 300th league appearance and Jake Livermore's 100th league start.
