The Reds had now kept seven consecutive clean sheets at Anfield in the Premier League for the first time since February 2007. Mohamed Salah had now scored 29 goals in 29 appearances for Liverpool at Anfield in all competitions. Liverpool had now won their opening three games of a Premier League season for a fourth time (also 1993-94, 1994-95 and 2013-14).
