Comments:

League position: 3rd Liverpool had now scored and conceded in 22 of their 31 Premier League games so far in this season; more often than any other side. Philippe Coutinho had now scored 29 goals in the Premier League; the joint-highest scoring Brazilian in competition's history along with Middlesbrough's Juninho. Only Crystal Palace (30) and Swansea City (28) and now conceded more goals against teams in the bottom-half of the table in this Premier League than the Reds (27). Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said: "We all know we have lost games like this in the season and tonight we didn't. Maybe we can take this as a positive. It's my responsibility, all of this, and I have to be clear in this situation. I will find a solution for this."

Comments:

League position: 13th AFC Bournemouth failed in their attempt to keep three consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League for the first time. The Cherries were now unbeaten in their last five Premier League games (won two). Josh King had now scored nine goals in his last ten Premier League appearances. AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said: "It took the win at Chelsea last year to really get the players to believe we could win anywhere in the division but I think this season the big results against those teams have reinforced that belief."
