Comments:

League position: 20th Huddersfield Town had now lost 12 and drawn one of their last 13 games in the Premier League; the longest current run without a win in the top four divisions. The Terriers had now lost their last seven home games in the Premier League; the longest such run since Wolverhampton Wanderers lost nine in a row in April 2012. On 19 February 2019, the Premier League’s Goal Accreditation Appeals Panel ruled on the following: - Huddersfield Town’s goal against Arsenal on 9 February 2019 has been confirmed as a Karlan Grant goal (so not an own goal by Sead Kolašinac). Prior to this game, Steve Mounie (in a 2-1 defeat against Burnley on 2 January) was the only Town player to score a goal in 2019 in all competitions (played seven).

Comments:

League position: 6th This was the first time that Arsenal had led an away game in the Premier League by two or more goals at half-time since 27 August 2016 at Watford. The Gunners had now failed to keep a clean sheet in 13 consecutive away games in the top division for the first time since February 1985 (16 games). This was their first win in their last six away games in the Premier League (lost four).
