It was the first spot-kick they had been awarded in this Premier League season, so becoming the last team in the division to do so. The Toffees were now unbeaten in ten consecutive home games in all competitions for the first time since April 2015. They had now taken 902 points from their 535 home games in the Premier League (won 252, lost 137).
