Comments:

League position: 20th Crystal Palace had now won seven of their 24 home games in the Premier League since the start of 2016-17 (lost 14). Palace were now one of only four teams in the big five European top divisions yet to keep a clean sheet in this season (also Benevento, Malaga and Dijon). They had now scored four goals in their ten games so far in this Premier League season (conceded 21). Crystal Palace manger Roy Hodgson said: “This team has got more character than they are sometimes credited with. To be at home, losing in the 96th minute – with the crowd still behind the team, it speaks volumes for our fans. It is very rare that, when you’re into the 95th or 96th minute, hardly anyone has left their seat when you’re losing. That’s Selhurst Park, that’s our fans and I’m glad they’ve gone home with a point in their pocket. The stress must be crazy as a Palace fan. We are playing cup finals every week.”

Comments:

League position: 16th West Ham United remained without a win in their six away games so far in this Premier League season (lost three). They had conceded at least two goals in five of their seven away league and cup games so far in this season. Since Slaven Bilic was appointed as the Hammers' manager in the summer of 2015, they had won as many games that they have lost in the Premier League (30). West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic said: "To concede like that is a killer. It feels like a defeat. It wasn't a defeat and it isn't a defeat at this point. It will be very important for us. They gave everything again, they ran, they defended, some of them played 90 minutes three days ago. I saw them struggling with energy but they wanted to defend, wanted to close them down. We were doing that. It's very, very frustrating."
