Comments:

League position: 20th This was Crystal Palace's second win in their last 14 games in the Premier League. Palace were now unbeaten in their last four home games in the Premier League. Mamadou Sakho’s goal was the first 90th minute winner that Crystal Palace had scored at home in the Premier League since Clinton Morrison’s goal against Sheffield Wednesday in May 1998. Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson said: “We’ve got to keep working, keep doing what we’re doing and most importantly not slip below the standard we’ve set ourselves. If you fight to the end you’ve always got a chance and we showed fighting spirit. It was an even contest and we’ve played better before. We got a bit of good fortune with the Mamadou’s goal."

Comments:

League position: 15th Stoke City had now conceded two or more goals in eight of their last ten Premier League games. The Potters had now won one of their last six games in the Premier League. Xherdan Shaqiri scored his tenth goal in the Premier League. Stoke City manager Mark Hughes said: "We didn't deserve to lose, but we didn't defend correctly on two occasions and you're going to get punished and that's the story of the game, really. It should have should have been about a fantastic individual goal from Xherdan Shaqiri who put is in a winning position once again but unfortunately we weren't able to keep the lead for long enough."
