Comments:

League position: 13th Following the confirmation that his contract would not be renewed at the end of the season, this was Croydon-born manager Roy Hodgson's final home game in charge of Crystal Palace. This was the first time that the Eagles had lost their final home game in a season in the top division since 1980-81 in League Division One. Christian Benteke became the second player to score in four consecutive games in the Premier League for Palace after Neil Shipperley in December 1997.

Comments:

League position: 9th Arsenal failed in their attempt to win four consecutive away league games without conceding a goal for the first time in their history. They had now conceded one goal in each of five of their last seven games in the Premier League (none in other two). Gabriel Martinelli scored Arsenal's second goal in the first minute of added time at the end of the game before Nicolas Pépé added their third goal four minutes later.
