Kick-Off: 21:00 Local (20:00 BST) Assistant referees: Philip Sharp (England) Glen Turner (England) Fourth official: Kevin Stott (United States) Fifth official: Gregory Barkey (United States) Man of the Match: Harry Kewell (Australia) Croatia and Australia have met on four previous occasions, all in friendly matches. Croatia's only win came in the most recent encounter - a 7-0 thumping in Zagreb on 6 June 1998. The close cultural ties between the two countries mean that three players in the Croatia squad were born in Australia while no less than seven of the Australians have a Croatian family background. This was the fifth World Cup finals game where three players have been sent-off. It is the second of Germany 2006 following the Italy v USA game in Group F.
