Final league position 2014-15: 1st On the final day of the campaign, Chelsea became the only team across the four divisions to complete the 2014-15 season unbeaten at home in the league. The Blues had been top of the table for 274 days this season, a new Premier League record. John Terry became only the second outfield player to play every minute in a Premier League title-winning season, following Manchester United's Gary Pallister in 1992-93. Branislav Ivanovic and Eden Hazard had also started every game this season. Chelsea had now set a new record for fewest defeats in all competitions in the Premier League era in a season with four. They had now become the third team to score over 1,500 Premier League goals; Manchester United and Arsenal were the others. On the day that champions Chelsea were presented with the Premier League trophy, in his final appearance for the club, Didier Drogba was ‘chaired’ off the pitch by his teammates when he was being substituted during the first-half.
