League position: 1st Chelsea now had 72 points from 30 games so far in this Premier League season; 31 more than at the same stage in the previous season. Eden Hazard became the first Chelsea player to score in home and away games against Manchester City in the Premier League since Salomon Kalou in 2007-08. The Blues had now kept two clean sheets in their last 12 Premier League games. Chelsea manager Antonio Conte said: "We must be pleased because we beat a strong team; the best team in the league. I think they have a great coach; the best in the world. To win this type of game at this time of the season is great."
