Comments:

League position: 13th Brighton and Hove Albion avoided losing four consecutive games in the top division in the same season for the first time since 1982. The Seagulls had now failed to score in three consecutive home games in all competitions for the first time since January 2016. They retained their record of never having lost a Premier League game in the month of February (played four, won two). Dale Stephens was originally named in the starting line-up before suffering an injury in the pre-match warm-up. Yves Bissouma was promoted to the starting XI with Dan Burn taking his place on the bench.

Comments:

League position: 8th Watford had now drawn 50 games in the Premier League (played 215, won 54). The Hornets had now drawn four of their last six games in the Premier League. This was manager Javi Gracia’s 39th Premier League game in charge; more than any other manager for Watford in the competition.
