League position: 1st This was the first time that Liverpool had conceded three or more goals against a newly-promoted team in a game in the Premier League since 23 January 2016 at Norwich City. They had not conceded a goal in the second-half in their seven preceding games in all competitions in this season. Mohamed Salah had now scored 100 goals for the Reds in 151 games the Premier League. He reached the milestone in the top division in fewer games for them than any other player; previously 152 by Roger Hunt in League Division One. Mohamed Salah's goal was initially disallowed for offside but the decision was subsequently overturned following a VAR review.
