Comments:

League position: 8th With this win, AFC Bournemouth moved up to their highest-ever position in English football's league pyramid. On this day eight years earlier, they were in 23rd position in League Two with only Luton Town below them. The Cherries had now won five of their last seven home games in the Premier League (lost one). They had now failed to score in only one of their last 11 home games in the Premier League. Tyrone Mings replaced Callum Wilson in the third minute of added time in the second half.

Comments:

League position: 14th This was Leicester City's 400th game in the Premier League (won 122, lost 164). The Foxes had now created a new all-time record by taking only one point from their first eight away games as the reigning top division champions. As reigning Premier League champions, after 16 games, they now had one more point (16) than last season's reigning champions Chelsea had at the same stage (15). City had now conceded in each of their last ten Premier League away games; their worst run in the division since April 2002. Claudio Ranieri became the first Italian manager to reach 200 games in the Premier League (146 for Chelsea, 54 for Leicester City).
