The Football Genome ProjectWe're building a web site containing information on every match, player and team for all international and professional football. Currently the site includes full line-ups of all FA Premier League games and the majority of games in the Football League since its foundation. It also contains almost every game ever played at international level for all countries with line-ups.For more than 30 years, the AFS has collected, compiled and collated data from numerous different sources. Initially these were all paper-based but with the advent of computers, and then the internet, it has become apparent that what we're moving towards is a complete set of data - for every professional game ever played. Access to the Football Genome Project web site is through membership of the AFS community.
