    The Premier League’s Dubious Goals Panel has today viewed all dubious goals for the period 20th April 2011 to 22nd May 2011.

    The Dubious Goals Committee has ruled on the following:


    1) Arsenal’s second goal against Tottenham Hotspur on 20th April 2011 has been confirmed as a Samir Nasri goal.

    2) Liverpool’s fifth goal against Birmingham City on 23rd April 2011 has been confirmed as a Joe Cole goal.

    3) Bolton Wanderers’ second goal against Arsenal on 24th April 2011 has been confirmed as a Tamir Cohen goal.

    4) Stoke City’s third goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 26th April 2011 has been confirmed as a Jermaine Pennant goal.

    5) Fulham’s third goal against Sunderland on 30th April 2011 has been confirmed as a Simon Davies goal.

    6) Liverpool’s first goal against Newcastle United on 1st May 2011 has been confirmed as a Maxi Rodriguez goal.

    7) Manchester City’s second goal against West Ham United on 1st May 2011 has been confirmed as a Pablo Zabaleta goal.

    8) Sunderland’s second goal against Bolton Wanderers on 7th May 2011 was in fact a Sulley Muntari goal and has therefore not been credited as a Zat Knight own goal.

    The Dubious Goals Committee have ruled on the following goals:
    1 Liverpool's goal against Manchester United on 15th October has been confirmed as a Steven Gerrard goal.
    2 Bolton Wanderers' first goal against Wigan Athletic on 15th October was in fact an own goal (Gary Caldwell) and has therefore not been credited to Nigel Reo-Coker.
    3 Chelsea's second goal against Everton on 15th October has been confirmed as a John Terry goal.

    1) Arsenal’s seventh goal against Blackburn Rovers on 4th February 2012 has been confirmed as an own goal (Scott Dann) after being reviewed by the Dubious Goals Panel.

    2) Manchester United’s third goal against Aston Villa on 15th April 2012 has been confirmed as a Wayne Rooney goal.

    3) Swansea City’s second goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 28th April 2012 has been confirmed as a Joe Allen goal.

    4) Wolverhampton Wanderers’ second goal against Swansea City on 28th April 2012 has been confirmed as a Matt Jarvis goal.

    The Dubious Goals Committee - drawn from people who have participated as a referee, player or manager at the highest level of the game - have ruled on the following goals:

    Tottenham Hotspur's first goal against Fulham on 6th November 2011 has been confirmed as an own goal (Chris Baird) after being reviewed by the Dubious Goals Panel. (NB: This goal was reviewed in this period following an appeal by Tottenham Hotspur).

    Newcastle United's second goal against Bolton Wanderers on 26th December 2011 has been confirmed as a Demba Ba goal.

    Sunderland's goal against Everton on 26th December 2011 has been confirmed as a Jack Colback goal.

    The Premier League's Dubious Goals Panel has made a decision on two dubious goals that were scored in the Barclays Premier League during the period between 5 - 14 March 2013.

    The Dubious Goals Committee - drawn from people who have participated as a referee, player or manager at the highest level of the game - have ruled on the following goals:

    Aston Villa’s first goal against Reading on 9th March 2013 was scored by Christian Benteke.

    West Bromwich Albion's second goal v Swansea City on 9th March 2013 was a Jonathan De Guzman own goal.

    The Premier League's Dubious Goals Panel has made a decision on two dubious goals that were scored in the Barclays Premier League during the period between 15 - 25 March 2013.

    The Dubious Goals Committee - drawn from people who have participated as a referee, player or manager at the highest level of the game - have ruled on the following goals:


    Everton’s second goal against Manchester City on March 16th has been confirmed as a Nikica Jelavic goal.

    Southampton’s second goal against Liverpool on March 16th has been confirmed as a Rickie Lambert goal.

    Queens Park Rangers’ second goal against Aston Villa on March 16th has been confirmed as an Andros Townsend goal.

    Manchester United’s goal against Reading on March 16th has been confirmed as a Wayne Rooney goal (2/5).

    The Dubious Goals Committee - drawn from people who have participated as a referee, player or manager at the highest level of the game - have ruled on the following goals:

    - Manchester City’s third goal v Newcastle United on 30th March 2013 was scored by Vincent Kompany.

    - Manchester City’s fourth goal v Newcastle United on 30th March 2013 was scored by Yaya Toure (so not an own goal by James Perch).

    - Manchester United's goal v Sunderland on 30th March 2013 is a Titus Bramble own goal.

    - West Ham United's second goal v West Bromwich Albion on 30th March 2013 is a Gary O'Neil goal.

    Reading's second goal has been confirmed as an Ali Al-Habsi own goal (80).

    West Brom's fourth goal has been confirmed as a Craig Gardner own goal (90+5).
