As well as winning his 12th Premier League title medal, Ryan Giggs had further cause for celebration as United became champions of England for a record-breaking 19th time at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday (14 May).

With his 573rd appearance, Ryan also broke the all-time Premier League appearances record that had been held by David James.

He also equaled the record for the most top flight appearances for one club - 613 by Steve Perryman of Tottenham Hotspur - so is set to claim yet another record in the Reds final Premier League game of the season against Blackpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.
