FA Cup, 2012

The final of the 131st edition of the FA Cup was held at Wembley Stadium on 5 May 2012.

Manchester City were the defending champions.

As well as the trophy, the winners earned £1.8million from the total FA Cup prize fund of £15.132 million.

The domestic broadcasting rights were held by ITV and ESPN.

This was the first season that, due to a sponsorship deal, the competition was re-branded as the FA Cup with Budweiser.
