FA Cup, 2007

The final of the 126th edition of the FA Cup was held at Wembley Stadium on 19 May 2007.

It was the first final to be played at the 'new' Wembley Stadium.

Liverpool were the defending champions.

As well as the trophy, the winners earned £1million from the FA Cup prize fund.

The domestic broadcasting rights were held by BBC and Sky Sports.

This was the first season that, due to a sponsorship deal, the competition was re-branded as the FA Cup sponsored by E.ON.
