FA Cup, 2001

The final of the 120th edition of the FA Cup was held at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on 12 May 2001.

This was the first of six finals to be played outside of England while Wembley was being re-built.

Chelsea were the defending champions.

The domestic broadcasting rights were held by ITV and Sky Sports.

Due to a sponsorship deal, the competition was re-branded as the AXA sponsored FA Cup.
