  1. Premier League performance of the week: Arsenal

    by , 27th February 2012 at 05:26 PM (11v11 blog)
This week's performance of the week was Arsenal’s 5-2 demolition of Tottenham Hotspur.

The week ended with a resounding 5-0 win against Newcastle United that keeps Spurs on track for a Champions League place and maintains the possibility of their first title since 1961. And to continue Harry’s magic touch in the transfer market, the five-goal salvo included a brace from ...

    by , 3rd November 2011 at 07:45 AM (11v11 blog)
    - Bale’s second of the game ended an unlikely QPR comeback as Spurs moved level on points with Chelsea and Newcastle United in the Premier League table.
    - Man of the Match Scott Parker advanced in to the QPR half before passing to Rafael Van der Vaart. He found Aaron Lennon who clinically exchanged a triangle of passes with Bale on the edge of the box before the Welsh star coolly guided the ball into the top corner with his lethal left foot.
