    Our Premier League performance of the week goes to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for his superlative performance against Blackburn Rovers.

    Despite a 7-1 victory, another Robin Van Persie hat-trick and Thierry Henry’s first Premier League goal back in Arsenal colours, it was the performance of the former Southampton youngster that caught most eyes and many of the headlines

    With his first goals in the competition, the son of ex-England winger Mark Chamberlain became the second youngest goalscorer for Arsenal in the Premier League at 18 years and 173 days behind Cesc Fabregas (17 years, 113 days).

    AOC also become the youngest player to score two goals in a Premier League game since Wayne Rooney (18 years and 120 days) ...

    Performance of the Week: Wayne Rooney with his second hat-trick in consecutive games.

    - All three against Bolton were polished, well-executed finishes.

    - After Les Ferdinand, Ian Wright and Didier Drogba, became the fourth player to score hat-tricks in consecutive Premier League games.

    - From his first goal v Arsenal and last v Bolton, Rooney scored six goals in 75 playing minutes.

    - Now with a total of eight goals, Manchester City aside, Rooney has now scored more league goals on his own this season than any other club in the Premier League.

    - He’s the first United player to score back-to-back league hat-tricks since Alex Dawson in 1960.

    The 11v11 Premier League Performance of the Week is back! This week the honour goes to Queen's Park Rangers for their performance in beating Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park.

    QPR had to cope with the absence due to virus of DJ Campbell, Abdel Taarabt and Matt Connolly.

    Given the circumstances, Neil Warnock dubbed the victory as one of the best of his career.
