West Bromwich Albion win this week's performance of the week:
Having started the week as a relegation candidate, Albion have rocketed up to mid-table with back-to-back away wins.
After a run of four defeats in six games, the Baggies won their first-ever Premier League away game in the month of December with fine goals from James Morrison and Peter Odemwingie in the basement battle at Blackburn Rovers.
Roy Hodgson’s men backed that up with their first win at Newcastle United since September 1977 in the days of WBA legends Cyrille Regis, Laurie Cunningham and Bryan Robson.
They now face the daunting Boxing Day visit from Manchester City with the prospect of record three consecutive Premier League wins for the first time since August 2002.
